While reading this story it really made me think about what defines a just person and an unjust person. I also learned how power has an effect on people. Just the smallest piece of power can affect just one person and harm more than two people. Like in the story a man found a ring that can turn him invisible and so with that ring he used it to kill the king and he also got the king’s wife to kill him too and rule the kingdom. When he found the ring he took it and used it to kill the king and then he took over the kingdom. In my opinion i would say that he was not a just man, he was an unjust man. He also got the king’s wife to help him kill the king. I say that the king’s wife helped the unjust man because she might have been int by the kind of power he had. Or maybe the king might have been an awful husband to her, but i don’t see why she had to kill him because of that. They could of talked it out or something, but what she did was not loyal. She might have thought that the unjust guy might treat her better and/or be a better ruler. Something else that might had that he was loyal and but but she just didn’t like him or something.
- Unjust: not based on or behaving according to what is morally right and fair.

While reading the story I realized that people will lie to not look stupid just like how the minister and all the people lied to the emperor about his imaginary clothes. They lied because in the folk tale two swindlers claimed that they made extraordinary clothes and if you couldn’t be able to see the clothes then that meant that you were stupid and unfit for your position. They said that they saw the clothes on the emperor when really he didn't have anything on.
