What Is AAA?
A AAA is "Analyzing Author's Argument" How to do an “Analyzing Authors Argument” Piece. this helped me understand the authors argument. it helped me alot with my vocabulary too. This was really helpfull to me beacuse it also helped me understand the text more and what it was trying to say.
An AAA is meant to help you understand the author’s argument and whether or not it is valid. Below are the requirements and some tips for this piece:
An AAA is meant to help you understand the author’s argument and whether or not it is valid. Below are the requirements and some tips for this piece:
- At least 5 vocabulary words defined. These are words you do not know.
- It should be about 2 paragraphs. The first is about the argument, the second is your thoughts and analyzation.
- Look for the thesis statement, which is one sentence that states the author’s argument.
- Look for supporting evidence throughout the text. Should have about 3 pieces to back up argument.
- Analyze the argument, is it good, strong, weak, biased, and is the evidence facts or opinions?
- Answer the question: “Do you agree or disagree?”
- A reflection that is separate from the writing, on what you have learned.

2. xenophobic: having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries.
3.Petrified: so frightened that one is unable to move; terrified.
4.misogynistic: A misogynist is a person who hates or doesn't trust
5. Prejudice: preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.
“We have to ensure that our kids learn the values some leaders have forgotten.” line #78
According to the text in line #77 it states “if the president of the united state and his top official wave away racism and harassment, or traffic in prejudice themselves…” line #77
I would say that this is not good or bad statement ,but i that larned that people should watch what they are saying because they sometimes could forget of who is watching. And our leaders can sometimes be wrong and give the wrong example.

- This is saying that we have to make sure that we we give our kids the right example before someone they look up too gies the wrong one.

- this is saying that people we look up too can give the wrong example. I think that people should i would agree because what it is saying is true, leaders have forgotten of who is watching them.
- I agree with this because they are saying that the people you look up to can give bad examples because they forget who is watching and they sometimes don’t know what they are talking about.
